First Impressions | Lioele Triple Solution BB Cream

Hi guys! Its been a while since I did a first impressions post, actually I've only done one. Shame on me! But today I'm giving you my first thoughts in the Lioele Triple Solution BB Cream.
I got this little sample with one of my many ebay Korean skin care purchases and decided I would try it out yesterday.

Un-fortunately I can't read Korean but with a little bit of googling I found an English description:

Recapture the radiance of your youth with the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream and get beautifully flawless skin. This Triple the Solution BB Cream is a three-in-one makeup and skincare formula with whitening, wrinkle care and sun protection. The natural healthy yogurt powder and hyaluronic acid in this Lioele anti-aging day cream moisturizes your skin. Formulated with tangerine and strawberry extracts, this Lioele skin cream whitens and lightens the skin tone over time.

The fermented yogurt component in the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream offers a tight hold, making the cream work deep into your skin. The SPF 30 PA++ in this Lioele anti-aging cream protects your skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays. It not only filters out the UV rays, it nourishes your skin while hiding most skin troubles and blemishes to shade and even out skin tone for a perfectly clear and even complexion.

This Lioele BB Cream helps to prevent the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and freckles. The non-greasy formula of the Lioele Triple The Solution BB Cream leaves your skin looking fresh and vibrant.

This BB cream has a medium consistency, scentless and is a one shade fits all kind of deal. At first it was a little yellowy on my skin but did adjust to a closer skin match.
It covers redness well but I ended up with product build up around my nose, between my eye brows and the top corners of my mouth so I had to really work at it to get it to blend into these areas. To be fair I probably put a little too much on in one hit, but after really working it in the cover was nice.
Through out the day it did rub off leaving areas kind of patchy, but I do find I get that with a lot of BB creams/Foundations so I don't hold that against it.
All in all though I didn't fall madly in love so I won't be buying the full size. But if your interested I found it on AMAZON for £13.99

First Impressions | Sample Rimmel BB Cream Matte

I'm getting bit of a Sample collection so I thought it high time I actually start using them! So I'm going to do a little series of first impressions.

I got my little sample in my Company magazine last month.

Information

Brand | Rimmel London
Product | BB Cream Matte 9-in-1
Shade | Light
Price | £6.99
Will I Purchase | No

First off its very thick and creamy and glides on really nicely. It gives good coverage but the colour on me is a bit more orangey than I'm used to. The downside to this product is that it only comes in 2 shades light and medium.

It claims that it is a 9-in-1 product:
1| Minimises the appearance of pores
 2| Evens skin tone
 3| Mattifies
 4| Controls shine all day
 5| Smoothes
 6| Soothes
 7| Conceals dark circles
 8| Helps prevent blemishes
 9| Gives all day coverage

For me this only does about 2 of these things. It does minimise the appearance of my pores and has concealed my dark circles a little bit. My skin tone looks a little bit better. I can't say whether it helps to prevent blemishes or soothes. It doesn't mattify my skin at all or controls shine. Because of the lack of mattifing the coverage doesn't last all day.

In this picture it does look really nice and matte. I have some left in the sample sachet so I'll continue to give it ago and see how I get on.

Have you ever used this BB cream before?
What are your opinions on it?
I'd love to know!

Have a great day!

Skin79 Min Set Review

Its been a long time coming but I finally finished using my Skin79 mini set of BB creams.
I bought these a while back, and mentioned them in this POST.
&
Here's the corresponding post!

Lets start with the fist one I used which was the bright pink BB Cream.
Ultimately this was my favourite of them all.
It has a medium thick consistency and covers pores and redness well. It glides on to the skin and there's no need to use loads.
A little goes a long way.
My favourite way to apply was dabbing it on with my fingers.

The colour was a little greyer than I was used to and I can say that for all of them, but the colour match was amazing for me! I was really surprised because it only comes in one shade.
Although I found if I put too much on I would look a little pale.
This was long wearing and kept my oils at bay while leaving my skin feeling moisturised all day long.
LOVE IT!

My second BB was the Diamond Pearl Luminous silver tube.
This had a much thinner consistency and was full with shimmery good-ness.
If you like that sort of thing.

It didn't cover pores and redness very well and I found it didn't blend all that great either.
Wearability is interesting!
Like I said it has a lot of shimmer in it, and I mean a butt load.
Remember Edward Cullen's sparkles?

[mm well hello! my face was like this!]

Yeah more sparkly than him!
My boyfriend did ask me one day why my face was so sparkly!
The upside you do look luminous!

Moving on to the VIP Gold BB.
I found this to be very similar to the Pink BB in both consistency and colour matching.

I would say it was slightly more moisturising than the pink one and would be better for those with dry skin.
It also has a long wear time to it.

And finally the pale pink Diamond Collection BB.
No shimmer in this one!

Again I found this similar to the bright pink and gold BB's but with an ever so slightly thinner consistency.
Coverage was good but not as amazing as the bright pink and gold. Feels very moisturing and actually seemed to have a slight scent to it unlike the others!

Like I said at the beginning the Super+ BB (BrightPink) was my favourite of them all and I have plans to make a full sized purchase in the future :)

Have you ever used any Skin79 BB's - What was your favourite?

Hoped you enjoyed

Collection's BB Secrets

Hey all!
As promised here is my review on Collection Cosmetics BB Secrets.

£5.99 but I bought this for its introductory price of about £3.49 something like that.

I've had this in my makeup bag for almost a year now. When I first used it I won't lie, I hated it. So I pretty much just left it in a drawer and forgot about it till about a month ago. I has SPF 15 and as we here in Blighty have been having a bit of a heat wave I thought this wouldn't be too bad to use. I hate putting on sunblock under my foundation, makes it all oily - anyone else have that problem? So anyway I decided to give it another shot.

Ingredients

"BB Secrets - your new secret weapon! For that sheer, flawless face. No one need ever know you're wearing makeup"

What it boasts ~ all the benefits of BB technology to provide radiant, flawless skin
~ offers great coverage for an even skin tone with its all-in-one moisurising and skin                                          perfecting properties
~ SPF 15 to offer protection from UVA and UVB
~ a choice of light & medium shades

What I thought

Straight away you can smell the sunblock, which isn't an unpleasant if you like the smell which I kind of do, so at least you know you've got your SPF in there!

In contrast its quite a light shade but I did find that this colour adapts to your skin tone, though if your not careful and put too much on - like anything else - it turns a bit darker, more orangey than I'd like.

All smoothed in.

One thing I did find with this is that you have to be quite particular with how you work this on your skin. For me, I find the best way to use this, is to dab a little on the back of your hand then, using your fingers, take a small amount to product and rub with your fingers in both hands, like you would with moisturiser, then pat gently on to your face until the prodcut is worked in. I've found that rubbing this in no matter how gentle the product beads up and sloffs off. Which can be very unattractive, especially if you have a fluffy face...gets caught in your fluffy side-burns. Ok - that sounds manly but I'm sure some of you know what I mean.

BB Secrets does apply quite nicely with a foundation brush as well, but again just watch out for the beading.

Now this says that it give great coverage for a flawless skin tone. I wouldn't of said this was great coverage. Its a very light coverage - much like a tinted moisturiser in my opinion- which works out rather well for hot weather. Flawless skin tone? Sadly my skin tone is not flawless but hey! I'm sure If you had decent skin to start with this would work well for you! It is very moisturising and gives a nice dewy finish, but sadly not for long on my skin. About an hour if that before it goes oily.

The tube has a flip cap so it does end up getting messy and some product does dry and form a skin - which is a little gross, but wiping it off after use would be the best way to avoid it.

~Will I carry on using it? Yes just so I don't waste my money!
~Would I buy it again? No, not really.

So that's all folks! Thanks for tuning in!

Till next time have a lovely day :)

Package From Korea #1 ~Skin79 Miniature Set~

Hola! & Happy Monday!

So a week ago maybe more I was shopping around for a BB Cream (Blemish/Beblesh Balm), my first proper BB Cream. I do realise I'm a tad late on the BB Band-Wagon as we have now moved on to CC Cream (Colour Correct) and even DD Creams (Dynamic Do-all). But hey! What can I say!

So knowing very little about what were the best ones and what I should be looking for in my BB cream I took to reading and watching reviews on the best ones and I learned one thing, Western BB Creams seem to be glorified Tinted Moisturisers. ~Now don't quote me on that because like I said I haven't used very many or hardly any, so I can't really form an opinion. The one I have tried did remind me of a tinted moisturiser however - Collections BB Secrets - and yeah I was not totally impressed by this but I'll get back to that a bit later!

So one of the main BB Creams that kept cropping up was by Skin79 a Korean brand, and if there is one think I've learned while watching youtube videos and reading reviews is that Korea know their beauty. All I hear are wonderful things about Korean beauty products. So taking to ebay I decided to purchase (from a Korean seller) a BB Miniature Set by Skin79 ~ £4.51, to give some of there best BB's a go and decide if I wanted to buy a full sized one.

So in my little box I have:
VIP Gold Collection: Super+ Beblesh Balm with Whitening, UV Protecting SPF 25 PA++ & Wrinkle Improvement (the gold one)
Super+ Beblesh Balm Triple Function with Whitening, UV Protecting SPF 25 PA++ & Wrinkle Improvement (the pink one)
BB Diamond Collection - The Prestige BB Cream (the light pink one)
&
BB Diamond Collection - Pearl Luminous Beblesh Balm (the silver one)

They are all 5g tubes some I'm sure I'll get through them quickly. I'll try do do individual reviews of each one as I use them with swatches etc...or maybe one post, who knows!

Either way I'm super excited about giving these ago. I'll also do a short review on Collection's BB Secrets.

So until next time Ciao!
